In 1991, after working in construction for 12 years and obtaining his Journeyman Carpenter certification, Bob Nelson started his own company specializing in commercial, industrial and agricultural concrete work.

 

Over the past 34 years Bob Nelson Construction has grown from running one crew out of his home to employing up to 40 employees.In May of 2013 Bob Nelson Construction added the Paice Construction General Contractors division specializing in the pre-engineered steel buildings. Bob has worked hard to be able to provide his customers with a dependable business that provides a high-quality finished product.

 

Bob Nelson Construction employees are dependable, knowledgeable and well trained including journeymen and apprentices. Many employees have been employed by the company for many years and work side by side with Bob to ensure every projects meets the high standards Bob Nelson Construction has become known for.

Bob Nelson started working for Paice Construction in 1979. After 12 years in construction and obtaining his Journeyman Carpenter certification Bob started Bob Nelson Construction in 1991 and continues to regularly be hands on with the crews.

Jamie Rozon joined the Bob Nelson Construction team in 2007 as an apprentice, obtaining his Journeyman Carpenter certification in 2010. Jamie’s attention to detail and knowledge ensure that all his sites are run efficiently. Jamie’s work ethic and drive has enabled him to run a job site and interact confidently with the customers and employees in a professional manner at all times. Top quality finished products are the only acceptable option for Jamie. Jamie has been the site foreman on Superior Pulses – Verwood, Hawk’s Agro – Gravelbourg and Neville locations as well as the Bourassa & Sons expansions in Raymore and Assiniboia.

David Fryklund joined Nelson Construction in 2000 and over the years has learned to provide the high quality of product Bob is known for. Dave makes sure to maintain the quality of work required for a lasting finished project. Ensuring the crews work together as efficiently and safely as possible to complete the jobs in a timely and efficient manner. Dave was the site foreman for such jobs as the Mosaic 2008 - 2011 , JGL – New location and Alpine Nachurus.

Gordon Fryklund joined the company in 2001 and picked up the skill set required to lead a crew as well as communicate with the customers in the dependable and quality of work they have become known for. Gord takes pride in the quality and efficiency all the customers have become accustom to. Gord has been the site foreman for such job sites as the 36 unit Lynbrook Condo Development and the Simpson Seeds Expansions.
